Let me start this off by saying in my last post about layers I might have jinxed myself. When documenting my time with a few friends for the post, the weather was a breath of fresh air literally. It was a great relief from having to deal with constant blizzards and deathly colds. But what are we back to dealing with now? Snowfall. On the plus side it hasn’t been as cold also the city is gorgeous when the snow falls moderately, it could be worse. Mother Nature needs to bring back the warm temperatures. I think we’ve all suffered enough.
Never the less the layer game is still in full effect; there really is no other way around it. This time around I played around with proportion and print. Those who know me can testify that I’m a fond of prints and textures. For me everything lies in the details, from how a shirt drapes off my waist to the fridge edge details on he 5-inch cuff of my jeans.
No matter the ensemble there is no substitute to effective detailing, no matter how insignificant you may think any detail may seem. An outfit doesnt always need to be loud and aggressive to speak or grab an individuals attention. Just like many things less can be more and style is no exception to this.
